Dear Families and Staff,
Balga Primary School has plenty to celebrate as we arrive at the end of the school year. There have been a number of wonderful academic results in NAPLAN and our PAT assessments. This is due to the strategic planning in developing teacher knowledge and skills. As we know, the most important resource for a student is their teacher. Balga PS has prioritised time and funds towards ensuring our teachers deliver purposeful, engaging and challenging learning programs and implementing evidence based programs. We have engaged staff in coaching, networking with other schools, observations, Professional Learning and Performance Development.
We will continue this momentum next year by consolidating what we have learnt, review programs, interrogate data and develop new targets based on the needs of the students.
I would like to thank the staff for their continued efforts and commitment to the students throughout the year. They deserve a well-earned break.
Thank you to the P&C for their work this year and the time and effort they put into the Graduation.
I wish you all a very safe and happy holiday.
Mike Wills

Outback Splash
The Year 6 students had a wonderful day at Outback Splash last Friday. It was a perfect day to get wet, as well as relax under a thatched roof gazebo. The students represented Balga Primary School in a responsible and respectful manner. The bus driver even commented on how fantastic they were on the way there. Well done everyone!
