Balga Primary School is pleased to announce an upgrade to our admin school communication services. News, Events and Notices will now be sent via email through COMPASS, the Education Department’s new online platform, designed to make communication and school processes easier and more efficient for families.
What Compass will be used for
Families will be able to use the Compass Parent Portal to:
- Report student absences
- Receive school messages and updates
- Stay informed about upcoming events
Compass will help streamline communication and reduce the number of school platforms parents need to use.
Accessing Compass
Parent/Guardian 1 and 2 will receive an email containing:
- Your Compass username, and
- A one-time passcode for your first login
You can access Compass through the website or by downloading the Compass app via the App Store or Google Play.
If you have not receive your login details, or if you need assistance with access, please contact us at Balga.PS@education.wa.edu.au or call the school office on 9253 4500.
Families are encouraged to use Compass to report student absences.
Please note: at this stage, only the attendance features will be active. Additional functions will be introduced over time.
